TAF-1

TAF-1 is an applied finish with a high resistance to corrosion and a wear resistance superior to Blueing and Parkerizing. It is available in a Dark Gray (which can also be made to resemble the old green GI Parkerizing) and in Black. It is less than .001” thick and does not interfere with moving and fitting of parts. All parts of the firearm are coated except springs and plastic parts. I do not normally coat 1911 style barrels where most of the barrel is not visible. Barrels will show drag marks from slide operation if they are coated. I do coat Beretta 92/96 and similar pistols barrels. TAF-1 can be applied to steel, aluminum, brass and any other part that can withstand 325-degree heat. TAF-1 has a lifetime guarantee against peeling or flaking.
